Reverend Janine A. Dailey was appointed pastor of Allen AME Providence in June 2023 by Presiding Prelate Rev. Julius H. McAllister, Sr. Prior to coming to Providence, she led New Bethel AME in Lowell, MA, where under her leadership weekly attendance and membership both grew and foundational ministries—Bible study, a 24/7 prayer line, and a discipleship institute—were launched.
A doctoral candidate at United Theological Seminary (DMin), Rev. Dailey holds an MDiv from Andover-Newton Theological Seminary at Yale, an MBA from Simmons University, an MA in Counseling Psychology from Boston College, and a BA from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is also International Director and faculty at Eagles International Training Institute, equipping leaders worldwide in prophetic and apostolic ministry.
In addition to her pastoral duties, she founded New Wine Ministries—training and mobilizing saints for Kingdom service—and authored Miriam’s Mantle, a resource for dance-ministry leaders. She has travelled extensively to Aruba, the Bahamas, Guyana, Jamaica, and Suriname to teach and minister.
Passionate about worship, leadership development, and healing ministry, Rev. Dailey also shepherds our grief support and Christian recovery groups, and continues her late husband’s legacy (the late Rev. Rodney E. Dailey) through mentorship of emerging leaders. She and her three children—Amara, Rodney II, and Janaya—reside in Providence.
At Allen AME Providence, our clergy combine biblical wisdom, pastoral care, and a heart for justice to lead, nurture, and empower every member of our family.
Rev. Narfretta Connor serves as Associate Minister at Allen AME Providence, bringing compassionate pastoral care and dynamic leadership to our congregational life. initiatives, helping equip and send God’s people into transformative service.
